Day 1: Monday, December 9th, 2024

10:30 - 12:30 | Arrival and inquiries

Team and organizers arrival Set up an art exhibition, Distribution of candles, banners, and informational materials.

12:30 - 13:30 | Opening Ceremony

Participants gather at the venue.
Welcome speech by VETO-G Camp Team.
Moment of silence for the victims of the Ezidi genocide

13:30 - 15:00 | First Demonstration Session

Key messages highlighted through banners and chants.
Speeches by advocacy activists addressing the ongoing Ezidi genocide and international responsibility.

15:00 - 15:30 | Advocacy Speeches and Artistic Showcase

Artists showcasing their drawings and paintings related to the genocide. Showcasing of Ezidi traditional clothes

15:30 - 16:00 | Religious Hymns and Cultural Expressions

Ezidi religious leaders perform traditional hymns for remembrance and healing.
Singers perform Ezidi traditional songs and dedications for the souls of the victims.

16:00 - 18:30 | Candlelight Vigil Preparation

Distribution of candles and setup for the evening vigil.
Lighting candles for the souls of the victims.
Unified chant for justice and Ezidi protection.

Day 2: Tuesday, December 10th, 2024

13:30 - 14:00 | Cultural and Artistic Showcase

Artists present additional pieces of their work reflecting the Ezidi genocide.
Performers rehearse and engage with attendees to build momentum for the demonstration.

14:00 - 18:00 | Main Demonstration Session

14:00 - 14:15 | Opening Remarks: VETO-G Camp Team opens the demonstration.
14:15 - 15:30 | Speeches: Survivors, activists, and community leaders deliver impactful speeches. Key messages emphasizing justice, security, and rebuilding for the Ezidi people.

15:30 - 16:30 | March and Chants:

Peaceful march through designated routes around the UN office.
Chants calling for justice and protection under the Genocide Convention.

16:30 - 18:00 | Performances and Closing Session:

Religious hymns performed by Ezidi leaders.
Traditional Ezidi songs dedicated to resilience and hope. Unified closing chant for justice and solidarity.

18:00 | Closing of Day 2

Expression of gratitude to all participants and supporters. Final reflections from the VETO-G Camp Team. Encouragement for continued advocacy and solidarity.
